Hong Kong is such a vibrant food city and is one of my favourite places to visit in the world.

It’s full of awesome Cantonese and regional Chinese restaurants (but also has some of the best Italian, French and other great western dining, too).

On my last trip, we ate very traditional food at Spring Moon, Seventh Son and Yung Kee, where we feasted on classics like suckling pig, salt-baked chicken, tea-smoked chicken, winter melon soup, roast goose and a variety of dumplings.

We also visited the three-Michelin-Star-rated Lung King Heen, where the dumplings are out of this world, and sampled the modern Chinese cooking of Ho Lee Fook and Mott 32.

Sevva is a great place in Central to have a drink on the balcony and watch the lights of Hong Kong do their stuff.

Or splurge on a drink and amazing view at Felix at The Peninsular hotel, which looks back at the lights of Hong Kong Island from the Tsim Sha Tsui side.
