Nature’s theme park
Queensland’s Daintree Rainforest beguiles with its lush, tropical flora and ancient, endemic fauna; Sir David Attenborough has been so charmed by the world’s oldest rainforest that he’s named it “unlike any other rainforest in the world”. You don’t have to be a naturalist to appreciate the beauty of this vast wilderness, although you might just become one after visiting, thanks to a staggering array of wildlife (including the platypus, crocodiles and the southern cassowary) and an abundance of flora to explore.
