Head chef Lachlan Colwill wants Hentley Farm to be more than a restaurant – he likens it to a continuous think tank of ideas in food. Expect your dining experience to be an adventure of texture and contrast that features elements foraged from around the farm, matched with wine from the property’s boutique, single-estate vineyard. The 1880s stables that sit on the banks of Greenock Creek have been converted into a modern dining room where you can enjoy one of three menus – take an afternoon to dive into the works with the Discovery menu, spend a few hours with the smaller du Jour menu or try a mix of the two at Friday dinner. Expect exceptional service, uber-modern food, theatre at the table and Colwill joining you to explain his dishes.
