“Copenhagen is a very joyful and welcoming city,” says Charlotte Lynggaard. “It’s vibrant and dynamic yet small enough to be relaxed.” The creative director of luxury jewellery brand Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen lives north of Denmark’s capital and is well placed to sing its praises. “People here are open-minded and the city offers a lot of inspiration with its architecture, museums, galleries and world-renowned Scandinavian cuisine.”

“Pluto reminds me of a New York bistro – it has the buzzing energy you find in a big city. The service is great and the staff are very flexible; they’ll do their utmost to find you a seat at the bar if you come without a reservation. Kiin Kiin Bao Bao is the younger sister of Kiin Kiin, Copenhagen’s first Asian restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star. The concept here is modern Asian tapas amid a cosy, cool atmosphere and fantastic interiors. I recommend ordering a variety of bao.”
