Hermes, Paris
Being the iconic brand’s first foray across the river, the 2011 opening of a Left Bank Hermes had to impress—and impress it did. This isn’t your ordinary luxury multi-level interiors store, owing to the waves of basket-like ash wood lattice snaking through the store; a nod to the space’s former life as a swimming pool. These formations give the store a decidedly contemporary character.
